POSITION OVERVIEW

WOWS Global is seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to support our financial modeling, investment research, and valuation analysis. This unpaid internship provides hands-on exposure to startup finance, venture capital, and investment strategies. If you are passionate about financial analysis, risk assessment, and investment decision-making, this opportunity will equip you with essential finance skills and deep industry insights.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial Analysis: Assist in evaluating startup financial statements, business models, and financial health.
• Investment Research: Conduct research on funding trends, market conditions, and competitor benchmarks.
• Financial Modeling: Build and refine financial models for valuation, cash flow forecasting, and risk assessment.
• Due Diligence Support: Analyze financial risks, company fundamentals, and investment opportunities for potential deals.
• Portfolio Monitoring: Track key financial metrics and performance indicators for startups in our portfolio.
• Investor Reporting: Prepare investment summaries, financial presentations, and valuation reports.
• Risk & Return Analysis: Assess financial risks, capital structure efficiency, and funding strategies.
• Process Optimization: Help streamline financial workflows and investment evaluation processes.
• Collaboration: Work with investment, strategy, and business development teams on fundraising and valuation projects.
• Learning & Growth: Gain exposure to venture capital, financial structuring, and startup financing strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Financial Analysis & Modeling: Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, and Excel-based modeling.
• Investment Research: Ability to analyze funding trends, industry benchmarks, and investor preferences.
• Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and financial insights.
• Communication Skills: Ability to prepare investment reports and financial presentations.
• Proficiency in Finance Tools: Familiarity with Excel, financial databases, and accounting software is a plus.
• Self-Motivated & Organized: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently.

DURATION

Minimum 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and mutual agreement.
